The Young Men of Balcones were back at it yesterday afternoon volunteering at Central City Church once again. This church holds some memories for the boys as it is the site of many basketball practices back in elementary and middle school. None of our crew were members at this church but the good folks there let us use their beautiful basketball court in exchange for some manual labor on occasion. Quite a good deal!
While we no longer need use of their basketball court, our group was happy to continue to help out at the church. Yesterday, they had a lengthy list of chores to assist with including moving a huge stack of firewood, cleaning tables and chairs and weeding flowers beds.
